Senior Interaction Designer / Senior UX/UI Designer

Contract Duration: 6 months, Market Rate (Inside IR35), Location: Hybrid / Flexible working in Bristol or London

Our client are offering a unique opportunity to work on a prestigious design system project. You will be instrumental in introducing a new brand to components, patterns, and styling, as well as developing a new brand system repository.

Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary, Agile team, you will design clear, usable and accessible digital services that have a significant impact on public services. You will work with senior stakeholders, influencing design decisions. A working knowledge of WCAG, experience of the GOV. UK Design System and a solid understanding of GDS Design Principles are essential criteria for this role.

As the Senior Interaction Designer, you will also guide, support and mentor others.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Design qualification or significant equivalent professional experience in an Interaction /UX/UI Designer Role.
• Background in frontend development is a bonus; a design background is a minimum requirement.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience with the GOV. UK Design System, GDS service standard, and design principles.
