About the Role:We are excited to partner with a Tier 1 Facilities Management (FM) client to find a skilled and dedicated Electrical Technician for a prestigious university in London. This role presents an opportunity to work within a dynamic educational environment, ensuring high standards of electrical maintenance and support in a modern, challenging setting.

As an Electrical Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining and servicing electrical systems, ensuring safety and functionality across campus facilities. This role is ideal for an experienced technician looking to advance their career in a reputable organisation with a strong commitment to quality and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on a range of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Respond to reactive electrical issues promptly, diagnosing and repairing faults to minimise downtime.
  • Work collaboratively with other facilities staff and subcontractors to maintain seamless operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and university protocols.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation every other weekend, ensuring continuous support and responsiveness.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Technician within a large facility or similar environment.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., 17th/18th Edition).
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety protocols in an FM environment.
  • Ability to travel to the site within 40 minutes of Kensington and Chelsea.
