The role:

As the People & Payroll Coordinator, you'll be the friendly face of our People Team, making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You'll play a key role in supporting our employees, managing the full employee lifecycle (from onboarding to offboarding), and ensuring our payroll processes are seamless and accurate. You'll be part of a small, close-knit team where your contributions will truly make an impact.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Managing all stages of the employee lifecycle (pre-employment checks, contracts, onboarding, offboarding).
  • Keeping everything in order with our HR systems (BambooHR, Power Bi, intranet systems) and making sure all employee data is up-to-date.
  • Overseeing the People Team inbox and ensuring quick, friendly responses to any queries.
  • Liaising with IT and suppliers to get everything set up for new starters.
  • Preparing and reviewing payroll, making sure everyone gets paid correctly and on time.
  • Supporting the team with recruitment admin and ensuring HR policies are up-to-date.

What you need:

  • A strong sense of ownership - you love taking responsibility and seeing tasks through to completion.
  • Excellent communication skills - you're engaging, approachable, and can handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Solid HR admin and payroll experience, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech-savvy and confident with HR systems (experience with BambooHR or Power Bi would be a plus!).
  • Super organised, flexible, and always up for a challenge.
