Employee Relations Advisor

Our client is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to join their HR team and support in all areas of Employee Relations, someone who can consult with line managers and manage and coach through the process.

Day-to-day of the role:

    • Provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on all aspects of employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution.
    • Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures.
    • Develop and implement employee relations strategies and initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture and enhance employee engagement.
    • Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure alignment of employee relations practices with overall HR strategy and business objectives.
    • Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and advising on any necessary changes to company policies.
    • Deliver training and workshops to managers and employees on employee relations topics, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in employee relations or a similar HR role.
    • CIPD qualification would be an advantage
    • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
    • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a strong attention to detail.
