About The Job:

As an Employee Relations Consultant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and harmonious work environment. You will provide guidance and support to managers and employees on various employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing employee relations policies and procedures
  • Investigating and resolving employee complaints and grievances
  • Conducting exit interviews and providing feedback to management
  • Developing and conducting employee relations training programmes
  • Monitoring and analysing employee relations trends and recommending proactive measures
  • Collaborating with HR and legal teams to ensure compliance
  • Managing employee discipline and performance improvement processes
  • Partnering with HR and business leaders to enhance employee engagement

Employee Relations Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as an Employee Relations Specialist or similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Working in the tech industry or a large matrix organisation is ideal.
  • Experience in conflict resolution and mediation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Professional certification in Employee Relations or Human Resources Management
  • Experience in employee engagement and retention strategies
  • Ability to analyse data and provide insights
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
