Employer Engagement Coordinator

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in East London.
Role Purpose- Help young people overcome challenges and gain work experience and job opportunities.
- Build strong partnerships with businesses to create career pathways.
- Support individuals in developing skills and confidence for long-term success.
- Find and secure work placements and apprenticeships by building relationships with businesses.
- Attend events, make calls, and network to connect with employers.
- Match individuals with suitable roles, prepare them for interviews, and support them in their placements.
- Ensure employer sites are safe and provide proper supervision.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure systems are up-to-date.
- Promote the benefits of the service to employers and gather feedback to improve.
- Experience working with employers to create job opportunities.
- Sales and relationship-building skills at senior levels.
- Ability to manage time, solve problems, and think strategically.
- Knowledge of working with young people facing challenges like unemployment or lack of education.
- Familiarity with safeguarding practices and willingness to keep skills updated.
- Right to work in the UK
