Your new companyYou will be joining a leading insurance firm that has a global presence. It's a renowned institution where various parties collaborate to manage and distribute different types of risks on a global scale. You will be joining to own the responsibilities for developing the firm's sourcing, management, contract and commercial capabilities, with a goal of ensuring cost, service and innovation benefits.Your new roleAs an IT Outsourcing Lead, you will be spearheading a major ITO project, being a part of the first generation of outsourcing for the firm. Your aim will be to ensure the firm navigates assuredly in delivering value and managing risk. This will be achieved through your expertise and influence, knowledge of contracts, understanding of the demands of a regulated industry, and experience managing complexities of third-party sourcing relationships.What you'll need to succeedYou will need to be an articulate communicator with exceptional influencing skills. You must have specific experience of ITO and BPO contract terms and a good understanding of different commercial sourcing models. Contract and commercial management knowledge is a must-have, as well as IT service management & IT change and delivery knowledge. You will need to be adept with great interpersonal, stakeholder and communication skills, and must be able to articulate demonstrable experience in managing Tier 1 Service Providers.What you'll get in returnYou will receive a competitive salary of c.£100k, alongside a generous package totalling £150-£160k p/a. You will receive 25 days AL with the option to buy or sell, which will increase to 27 after 5 years.
