Junior HRBP| Charity | North London | £42K - 45K| Office Based

Are you passionate about making a difference in the charity sector? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a strong background in HR? Our client, a leading charity organisation, is looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping their people strategy.

About the Role:

Based in the office daily, you'll work closely with the HR Director, alongside key stakeholders within the charity. You'll deliver a comprehensive HR service, providing expert advice and guidance across recruitment, learning and development, internal communications, and employee relations. Your role is crucial in ensuring the organisation continues to be a supportive, compliant, and high-performing environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Support line managers in delivering top-notch people management through the organisation's policies and procedures.
  • Lead on recruitment and volunteer management, ensuring the charity attracts and retains top talent.
  • Provide expert advice on HR-related issues, from disciplinary actions to employee relations, ensuring best practices and legal compliance.
  • Maintain and govern HR processes, ensuring the charity is compliant with regulatory requirements, including GDPR.
  • Collaborate with the broader HR team to revise and align policies, manage benefits enrolment, and enhance HR systems.
  • Drive data-informed decisions through comprehensive HR reporting
  • Facilitate performance and development reviews and deliver HR training workshops.

What We're Looking For:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience at Advisor/Partner level ideally, 1 year of it in charity - this is essential
  • Experience of managing complex ER cases.
  • Proven experience on coaching managers on all aspects of Employment Law.
  • A strong understanding of HR practices and relevant legislation.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels.
  • Proven experience in advising and coaching a diverse management team.
  • A detail-oriented individual with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
