The Metropolitan Police Service are undertaking some positive changes and have tasked Reed with recruiting a L&D Change & Continuous Improvement Lead on a permanent basis.

The role will be London based across multiple sites so you would be expected to operate flexibly as per their requirements. Hybrid working will be available as well.

The Change & Continuous Improvement Lead will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering transformational change across the learning and development function.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for supporting prioritisation and successful delivery of all L&D change projects and programmes, providing senior programme manager oversight and managing the related change impacts, working closely with senior stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive L&D strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Champion and implement effective PMO and programme delivery, supporting the vision to implement an industry leading L&D function.
  • Provide overall direction and leadership for the PMO, programme and project delivery teams within scope of the role.
  • Ensure delivery of PMO, programme and project outcomes and benefits
  • Provide overall direction and leadership of all L&D change and continuous improvement activities
  • Identify, plan and deliver discrete pieces of work on behalf of the Head of L&D Strategy & Performance and Director of L&D
  • Proactively engage SLT to identify potential change interventions.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Experience

  • Influencing, negotiating with, and providing challenge to board-level stakeholders.
  • Working effectively with risk within a complex change portfolio.
  • Building and leading project and programme delivery teams in a large and complex organisation.
  • Managing complex programmes and projects.
  • A proven track record of managing high profile programmes of work; using risk management appropriately and planning and developing relationships with key stakeholders
  • Advising, leading and negotiating at the executive level in relation to workforce education management i.e. planning, L&D processes, financial issues and communication with staff.
  • Using statistical and financial information in relation to business performance to influence strategic management decisions.

REMUNERATION PACKAGE

Starting salary ranging from £ £77332 - £80260 per annum + £2,928 additional allowances.
