We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Learning &D professional with a passion for Early Careers to join our well-established accountancy client initially on a 12 month contract. This is a supportive and friendly firm where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning and development journey of their trainees.
As Learning & Development Advisor with a focus on Early Careers, you will be responsible for delivering a proactive and seamless learning and development experience for all new trainees and their line managers, including Partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement study plans in collaboration with managers and partners, while ensuring study policies are up-to-date and aligned with business needs.
- Provide guidance on apprenticeship onboarding and qualification pathways, delivering study-related sessions during trainee inductions.
- Work with the Team Lead and business stakeholders to improve the Trainee Development Programme and enhance learning initiatives.
- Manage the professional qualifications alongside trainee progress, support exam resits or alternative study pathways, as well as utilising the Apprenticeship levy
- Coordinate programs contributing to budget planning, and maintaining L&D student resources, including intranet content.
- Oversee the student results day process, provide study plan and exam outcome advice, serve as a key contact for trainees on study and qualification queries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external training providers while working with the Diversity & Inclusion team to promote fair and inclusive trainee experiences.
- Collaborate with the wider HR function to ensure a holistic service, supporting the Early Careers recruitment team during peak times as needed.
The Profile:
- Experience in Learning & Development to Early Talent populations ideally within a professional services partnership environment or regulated firm.
- Strong knowledge of professional qualifications, apprenticeships, and early careers development.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships from senior stakeholders to junior trainees.
