Role: Senior Careers and Industry Placement Lead Type: Permanent - Full time Location: South London/ Surrey Rate: £43,596 per annum Eden Brown are currently looking to recruit a Senior Careers and Industry Placement Lead on behalf of a leading Further Education College in South London/ Surrey area. About the Role: We're looking for a dedicated leader to head our Careers and Industry Placement team. In this role, you'll oversee the coordination and delivery of careers guidance and work placements, ensuring students are equipped with the skills and experiences they need for success. You'll also play a key role in developing employer partnerships and driving the College's Careers Strategy. Key Responsibilities: *Lead and support the Careers and Industry Placement team to achieve their goals. *Develop and deliver career-focused workshops, preparation sessions, and enrichment activities. *Build and maintain strong relationships with employers to create a pipeline of high-quality placement opportunities. *Ensure all placements meet safety standards and quality benchmarks. *Stay updated on careers guidance policies and adapt strategies to align with national and local priorities. *Collaborate with internal teams to meet Gatsby benchmarks and improve the careers offer for students. Essential Skills and Experience: *Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively. *Proven experience working within the education or employment sectors. *Confidence in using digital tools like SharePoint, Teams, and MS Office. *Knowledge of careers guidance frameworks, including Gatsby benchmarks. *A proactive approach to problem-solving and developing opportunities. Desirable: *Careers or Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) qualification. *Familiarity with safeguarding and equality and diversity policies (or willingness to train).

Please note that this job will be fully on site, travelling between two of the college campuses.
