Our client is searching for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to take the lead in sourcing, attracting talent for their London vacancies. The role is initially a 9 month contract with the view of going permanent in January 2026. The role will commence in April or May, hence, no more than one months’ notice will be viable. Talent Acquisition Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Strategy (50%)
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and selection criteria.
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
- Conduct interviews and guide hiring teams on best practices.
- Enhance employer branding and boost online presence in collaboration with Communications.
Candidate & Employee Experience (40%)
- Provide guidance to hiring managers on job descriptions, adverts, and recruitment methods.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience, working closely with L&D and People Partners.
- Maintain communication with new hires during their first six months to ensure engagement.
- Collect feedback to improve the candidate journey and overall hiring experience.
Reporting & Compliance (10%)
- Track and report key hiring metrics, including time-to-fill and source effectiveness.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with employment laws and internal policies.
- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and negotiate cost-effective hiring solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven Experience: Significant in-house recruitment experience managing multiple UK vacancies across a broad spectrum of roles.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to implement process efficiencies and improve hiring workflows.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR systems (e.g., Cascade IRIS).
- People-Centric Approach: Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills.
- Knowledgeable: Understanding of employment law related to recruitment practices.
Location: Westminster / Victoria - 2 x days in the London office (flexibility available)Hours: 36.25 per week
Remuneration: £50K plus £5K retention bonus at the end of the contract, 28 days holiday, pension, health care etc.
