HR Project Advisor - Sports Media - 1-year Fixed-Term Contract – Salary c£40k

3-4 days per week (flexible working pattern)

We're seeking an exceptional HR Project Advisor to join this leading sporting business for a transformative one-year project.

One of the main factors of this role is to manage the DBS screening project, we are looking for candidates who have experience in this specific area. Its really important that you have worked within an organisation that have ongoing DBS checks for all employees who work with under 18's & Vulnerable adults.

This position will play a crucial part in revolutionising the current approach to managing a diverse casual workforce.

What does the role involve?

Working closely with the HR Services Team and the HR Project Manager -

- A deep dive into the casual workforce data; analysing and optimising processes for over 2,000 employees across two payrolls

- Spearheading compliance initiatives, ensuring all right to work checks and DBS processes are robust, efficient, and future-proof

- Lead the charge in implementing a new DBS check platform, providing training and guidance to stakeholders.

- Work autonomously while collaborating closely with HR colleagues and business support teams across 2 UK locations ( North West London & Midlands)

- Engage directly with Team Managers and HR Business Partners, building strong relationships and driving positive change

- Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and adapt in a dynamic environment

- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when handling large datasets and compliance-related information

- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement

- The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
