Our prestigious Global Investment Bank client is looking for an inside IR35 contract MS Access Developer & Business Analyst to join its dynamic team. This role involves the development and maintenance of MS Access databases and supporting a Calypso upgrade project. You will be instrumental in implementing business change requests and ensuring the smooth running of IT tools that support its operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Proven experience in Microsoft Access database development.
- Strong proficiency in VBA programming and a solid understanding of database design and normalization principles.
- Experience with SQL for query creation and optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with other database systems like SQL Server and knowledge of data integration and migration processes are desirable.
- Develop and maintain MS Access databases to support the client UK activities.
- Assist in the Calypso upgrade project, including testing changes and contributing to the obsolescence project.
- Implement business change requests for MS Access databases and support production activities.
- Collaborate with IT project managers and the Calypso team in Paris to manage front-to-back operations.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
