SAP EPM Project Manager

6 Month Contract - Inside IR35 (Umbrella/PAYE)

Remote / Paddington

My client who are a specialised technology company are looking to recruit a SAP EPM Project Manager to join them on an initial 6-month contract, working with their team based in London, Paddington. The SAP EPM Project Manager manages and leads the implementation of the global SAP EPM solution based on the SAP components SAC (Planning and Management Reporting and GR (Group Reporting), and will be owning the responsibility to coordinate integration topics between EPM and the Source and operational systems.

Responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Accountable for the successful delivery of the implementation of the EPM solution in time, budget, and quality over the whole program lifecycle
  • Accountable and responsible for providing clear leadership and direction of the project
  • Aligns functional and technical business requirements across IT domains
  • Identifies and manages strategic risks and issues facing the project, liaising appropriately with Business Counterpart resolve.
  • Responsible for conducting Status Meetings together with Business Counterpart
  • Reports progress against plan to Program Leadership, including planning, dependencies, assignments, resource overloads, milestones, deliverables, and risks & issues on a weekly basis
  • Manages liaison with Global Head of Business Application delivery regarding required capacity, skillsets, and delivery workbench
  • Key contact person for third party supplier

Required Skills

  • Good overview of Planning, Forcasting, Budgeting and Reporting knowledge (EPM)
  • SAP SAC and GR would be useful
  • Technical integration experience
  • Ability to manage large teams
  • Management and communication skills
  • Good skills in issue resolution and tracking
