Senior Energy Consultant

This is a great opportunity to join one of the UK's leading sustainability and energy consultancy who provide specialist services to a range of clients within the UK. They are on the looking for a Senior Energy Consultant to join a growing Energy team and work on a range of UK and internationally based projects in their offices in London.

Role responsibilities for a Senior Energy Consultant include:

  • Produce energy and sustainability reports for the planning stages of projects
  • Produce Net-Zero Energy strategies and carry out ESG site acquisition reviews
  • Carry out dynamic simulation modelling such as overheating assessments, operational energy analysis, and daylight calculation using IES-VE
  • Undertake BREEAM support and carry out SAP & SBEM modelling

The ideal Senior Energy Consultant will have:

  • Strong experience within a Sustainability or Energy consultancy role within the built environment industry
  • Degree within an environmental science or engineering field, with strong knowledge of energy statutory legislations and standards
  • Either have a CIBSE Low Carbon Energy Assessor or NDEA qualification
  • Proficient in IES-VE or Design Builder software
  • Good knowledge of BREEAM support reports
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
