Role Overview:

As a Senior Environmental Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying project opportunities, managing large environmental management projects, and providing environmental and social due diligence across the EMEA region. • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering growth and development within the team.
  • Provide advisory support on planning and permitting for projects in the UK and Continental Europe, including scope and delivery of EPR applications and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs).
  • Manage the interface between engineering and third-party permitting contractors, ensuring project schedules and permitting support are aligned.
  • Conduct Environmental and Social Due Diligence in line with GIIP (e.g., EP, IFC PS, WB EHS Guidelines).

What You Will Need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree (preferably a Master's) in Environmental Management or Environmental Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience managing and delivering international environmental and social impact assessments (ESIAs) in line with industry standards.
  • International Finance Institution (IFI) or Lender experience.
  • Extensive experience across the project lifecycle (due diligence, site selection, environmental appraisals, closure plans, and rehabilitation).
  • Proven experience in preparing EIA reports, IFC PS ESIAs, and other environmental documentation.
  • Well-developed project management skills and a strong track record in technical and project delivery.

What's on Offer:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Hybrid working model with the flexibility to work from home.
