This fantastic company is an industry leader, having been consistently growing its services, client base and reputation for over 20 years and now employing close to 500 people. They offer a wide range of services including event management, business and group travel, venue finding and event technology across a broad client base with a heavy leaning towards professional services.

Events can range from a VIP meeting in London for 50 delegates, to a high-end meeting for 300 or a partner conference for up to 2,000 across the globe!  

The Role

As Events Travel Coordinator, you will support the Event Travel Specialists on a vast array of travel projects. Responsibilities include:

-          Liaising with clients and travellers directly

-          Booking travel requirements for group event travel (using Sabre)

-          Resolving issues at any stage in the booking process

-          Proactively managing changes to bookings, updates and cancellations

-          Answering queries from travellers

-          Providing information to clients on rates and options

-          Generally supporting the broader team

The Candidate

Candidates must have experience in GDS, preferably a strong knowledge of Sabre. We are looking for individuals who have specific travel booking experience from within the event industry with an evidenced background of dealing with group bookings for event based travel. The ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment is essential.

This role has unique working hours - we are only seeking applicants who are able to work between the hours of 5:00pm and 1:30am UK time.
