Junior Events Assistant
6-Week Contract

London- hybrid working with European travel to the event
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Junior Events Assistant to join our team on a 6-week contract, supporting the successful delivery of a large-scale tech summit taking place in Europe. This role will play a key part in coordinating speaker logistics and handling administrative tasks in the lead-up to and during the event.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management and collaborate closely with industry professionals and speakers.
Key Responsibilities
Speaker Management

Maintain an up-to-date database of internal and external speakers, including customer and partner representatives.

Collect and track speaker assets such as job titles, headshots, and company logos.

Coordinate speaker registrations, legal release forms, and presentation deck submissions.
Administrative Support

Assist with updates to the event's public-facing landing page, particularly speaker information.

Organise and manage event-related calendar invites, documents, and folders.

Provide administrative support to various team leads working across customer advocacy and marketing.

Track and organise information using shared digital collaboration tools.
On-Site Event Support Europe -June 9-11

Travel to Europe to support the live execution of the event.

Assist with session rehearsals and technical walk-throughs on June 10.

Provide day-of support to speakers on June 11, ensuring sessions run smoothly.

Be available to troubleshoot any speaker or logistics issues as they arise.
Required Skills & Experience

Previous experience as an events assistant, coordinator, or personal assistant.

Strong organisational and administrative abilities.

Clear and confident communication skills with a professional demeanor.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.

Team player with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

Willingness and ability to travel to Europe on June 9, 10, and 11.
Preferred Skills

Background in event planning, marketing, or a related field.

Familiarity with cloud technology or the broader tech industry.

Experience using collaboration tools such as Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.).
