The Conference Producer Role
As a Conference producer, you’ll play a dynamic and fast-paced role in shaping industry-leading events.
Key Responsibilities:- Market Research: Identify emerging trends, key topics, and industry challenges to create compelling event agendas through lots of market research calls with industry leaders, reading around the topic and working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Speaker Recruitment: Secure senior-level speakers, build a strong industry network, and meet speaker targets.
- Stakeholder Communication: Engage with advisory boards and external partners.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in marketing, sales, operations, and audience development teams to drive event success.
- Content Creation: Write relevant and commercially focused content for social media, websites, and promotional materials.
- Event Management: Oversee event projects, ensuring smooth execution and continued growth.
- Relationship Building: Expand your professional network and foster strong connections with industry leaders.
- Post-Event Analysis: Assess event performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Strategic Development: Innovate and enhance event formats to improve audience experience.
- Administration & CRM: Maintain accurate records and contribute to process efficiency.
- Meetings & Travel: Attend and lead internal/external meetings and travel to events as required.
This role is perfect for a commercially driven, creative, and resourceful graduate with 6-12 months of B2B work experience such as; recruitment, sales, market research etc.
Key Skills & Attributes:- Academic Excellence: A 2:1 or First-Class degree.
- Confident Communicator: Able to engage (over the phone, email, digitally and in person) with senior business professionals
