Arguably the most famous museum in the world is seeking an experienced and highly organised Event Project Manager to join the team and support the Head of Events in delivering their inaugural Ball on October 18, 2024. This high-profile event aims to raise funds, increase visibility for the museum, and create an unforgettable experience for attendees.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale, high-profile events, ideally within the cultural or heritage sectors. You will be responsible for overseeing event logistics, liaising with creative production agencies, managing external suppliers, and ensuring smooth operations throughout the planning process. This includes working with high-profile guests, talent managers, and ensuring the event remains within budget.

Key responsibilities include managing the guest list, working with multiple departments, coordinating communications, and overseeing event materials like seating plans, menus, and signage. The role demands creativity, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

A passion for event management, creative flair, and an acute sense of style are essential. Knowledge of CRM and Auction systems like Raiser’s Edge and Emma Live is a plus.
