Wise May are looking for an Events Executive to join our client on a 6 month FTC to sell corporate and private events to external clients. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team who bring experiences and events to life.

Onsite 5 Days, 09:00 -17:00

Events Executive duties and responsibilities:

  • To sell events to external clients ( Corporate and Private).

  • The role involves a mix of reactive and proactive business, so will involve presence at Tradeshows but support with the reactive enquiries and confirming new business events.

  • Convert bookings through effective communication and show rounds with clients.

  • Key account management.

  • Receive and respond to incoming enquiries for external clients.

  • Manage the availability of rooms for internal events against generating revenue from external venue hire.

  • To liaise with clients to plan confirmed events.

  • Work with marketing to identify ways to grow new target markets.

  • Be aware of competitors and trends in the industry and suggests new ideas to manager.

  • Keep track of own work, sales and KPIs.

  • Use the Venue Management System to accurately record client data and requirements for events and the CRM system for contacts met at Tradeshows.

Events Executive skills and experience:

  • Experience within a similar role

  • Proven track record on achieving personal sales targets

  • Client relationship management

  • Proactive and Reactive sales mindset

  • Cold Calling and relationship building skills

  • Intermediate Excel skills
