Wise May are looking for an Events Executive to join our client on a 6 month FTC to sell corporate and private events to external clients. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team who bring experiences and events to life.

Events Executive duties and responsibilities:

To sell events to external clients ( Corporate and Private).

The role involves a mix of reactive and proactive business, so will involve presence at Tradeshows but support with the reactive enquiries and confirming new business events.

Convert bookings through effective communication and show rounds with clients.

Key account management.

Receive and respond to incoming enquiries for external clients.

Manage the availability of rooms for internal events against generating revenue from external venue hire.

To liaise with clients to plan confirmed events.

Work with marketing to identify ways to grow new target markets.

Be aware of competitors and trends in the industry and suggests new ideas to manager.

Keep track of own work, sales and KPIs.

Use the Venue Management System to accurately record client data and requirements for events and the CRM system for contacts met at Tradeshows.
Events Executive skills and experience:

Experience within a similar role

Proven track record on achieving personal sales targets

Client relationship management

Proactive and Reactive sales mindset

Cold Calling and relationship building skills

Intermediate Excel skills
