Role: Events Project Manager

The Role:
This is an on-site role for an iconic, award-winning London venue currently undergoing a landmark transformation. As Events Project Manager, you'll act as the key liaison between clients and technical delivery teams, ensuring the smooth and efficient implementation of event-related technical services.
From interpreting client connectivity requirements to overseeing installations, resolving technical issues, and driving continuous improvement, you'll take ownership of service delivery across a dynamic event space known for exceptional customer service.
- Translate organiser and exhibitor requirements into deliverable technical services
- Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure feasibility and timely installations
- Act as the main point of contact between clients and delivery teams during events
- Deliver clear technical briefs and support on-site execution
- Identify risks and implement solutions quickly and efficiently
- Monitor installation team performance and escalate issues as needed
- Drive service innovation, compliance, and continuous improvement across the board
- Support and develop team members to uphold a culture of operational excellence
Requirements:
- Proven project management experience in a technical or events environment
- Strong understanding of large-scale event logistics and technical service delivery
- Extensive customer-facing experience with a strategic mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and project planning tools
- Experience mentoring teams and managing multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Flexible and comfortable working outside standard hours when events require
Desirable:
- ICT or technical qualifications (e.g. Level 1 Certificate in ICT Professional Competence or equivalent)
- Familiarity with health & safety, compliance, and service documentation in live event settings
