We are partnering with a private equity and investment management firm who are looking to hire a marketing and events executive to their marketing team in London.

Client Details

The business are a private equity and investment manager facing into a high net worth retail audience. They are looking to hire a Marketing and Events Executive who will take ownership of the company's events programme and will assist the Head of Marketing on delivering on the marketing campaign strategy.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  1. Ownership of the client facing events programme
  • Responsibility for planning, delivering and managing the calendar of online and in-person events which are used to engage clients, build trust and support fundraising.
  • Working with the Head of Marketing and Client Relationship Managers to produce a varied calendar of content to appeal to different groups of clients.
  • Agreeing the target clients, inviting attendees, writing pre and post event comms, managing registration process/dropouts, managing event logistics, providing analysis on effectiveness of events and creating post event surveys to ensure an iterative approach to events.
  • Organising the annual client events.

2. Identification of trade media events to participate in:

  • Identifying and maintaining a calendar of relevant external third party run events for our spokespeople to appear at. Liaise with external orgs (e.g. private equity trade publications ) to secure speaking positions or networking opportunities for members of our senior management/product heads.

3. Marketing Campaign Support:

  • Digital marketing campaign support: Writing email copy, testing, sending; data list creation. Use of bulk email send software to deliver campaigns and monitoring send effectiveness.
  • Website content support: Support the Head of Marketing to maintain the corporate website i.e. refresh content, upload news items and maintain website events calendar.

4. News Monitoring and Social Media Campaign Management:

  • Use Linked In to promote and build the brand's profile by
    1. Sharing our content, including e.g. events attended by our internal team
    2. Monitoring newsflow including both Linked In and daily media round up alerts to amplify content from our portfolio companies and third party fund managers

Profile

The successful candidate for the marketing and events executive role:

The role will suit someone with experience and enjoyment of managing and organising events, working with multiple stakeholders and being involved in a wide range of Marketing related tasks.

Sector preferred: Financial services/investments (private equity / private markets would be excellent).

Software proficiency with MS word, excel, PPT, Teams/Zoom. Experience of using website CMS; CRM; email marketing software. Use of Linked In at a corporate level. Canva or similar a plus.
