Your new companyMy client, a global pharmaceutical company with a goal of contributing to healthcare innovation and environmental sustainability. They are focused on improving people's quality of life by preventing, alleviating, and curing diseases. They have a wide pharmaceutical portfolio, specialising in some of the following areas: oncology, neuroscience, and rare diseases.

There is an opportunity for a Congress / Events Project manager to join their Global Medical team on an initial 6-month contract.Outside IR35

Remote UK - must be able to travel as and when needed.

P/T - 3.5 days per week.Your new roleAs the Global Medical Publications and Communications (GMPC) Project Manager, you will support the GMPC Congress Manager and the GMA team in maintaining and elevating the medical presence and communication at global congresses.You will ensure consistency across therapeutic areas to build the company's external image and harmonise and optimise the congress process for global projects.What you'll need to succeedYou must be an experienced project manager with wide-ranging experience in Event Management, incorporating both strategic event planning and hands-on event delivery.

Have the ability to apply emerging knowledge and trends; build strong relationships; contribute to expertise within and beyond the assigned area

Have International exposure or multicultural working environment experience

Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills, able to communicate across all levels.

Have experience in a pharmaceutical/medical education environment

You must be detailed-orientated with strong organisational and time-management skills.

Have the ability to prioritise and schedule high-volume tasks simultaneously

Possess technical booth design and exhibition role management/knowledge
