We are growing organisation dedicated to increasing the number of women in leadership by fostering a community of successful female leaders. Following the rapid expansion of our community, we are excited to introduce a new role to support our mission and drive further growth.This position, titled Membership Manager, reports directly to the Head of Communities and offers many opportunities for personal and professional development as we continue to scale.

With responsibilities spanning community facilitation, membership management, administration, and personal assistance to leadership, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated initiative-taker ready to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities

Community and Membership Management

  • Serve as the gatekeeper of all member data, maintaining confidentiality and discretion while ensuring all member details are accurate and up to date on the database.
  • Process payments for monthly and annual memberships and address any related queries promptly.
  • Conduct regular reviews of LinkedIn groups to ensure members are in the correct groups and non-members are removed in a timely manner.
  • Be the first responder to member enquiries, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Communities to ensure smooth administration of memberships, processes, and the organisation’s website.
  • Create and update content on the website and social channels (training provided).
  • Issue member communications, manage mailbox correspondence, and follow up on events or inquiries.
  • Support collateral production with creative partners (after training).

Partner and Member Liaison

  • Attend partner and member meetings to take minutes, track actions, and follow up as needed.
  • Assist in driving actions forward during meetings with the Head of Communities.

Personal Assistance to Leadership

  • Provide PA support to the Founder and Head of Communities, including diary management, meeting scheduling, travel arrangements, and expenses.
  • Support ad hoc LinkedIn requests for community benefit.

Event Management Support

  • Manage event planning, including setup, invitations, dietary requirements, and attendee tracking.
  • Assist with venue assessments (virtual or in-person when necessary) and negotiate costs within budget.
  • Build a repository of event options (venues, catering, etc.) for future planning.

Day-to-Day Activities

  • Manage mailbox communications for members and partners.
  • Update relevant spreadsheets for events, partners, and membership activities.
  • Create and manage content updates for the website and social media.
  • Facilitate smooth execution of events, from planning to follow-up.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with social media platforms (especially LinkedIn) is a plus.
  • Organisational Skills: Diary management and project management experience are desirable.
  • Adaptability: A willingness to step outside traditional role boundaries and learn new systems or processes.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritise deliverables and work to deadlines in a results-driven environment.
