Executive Assistant

Salary: £25 - £28ph

Location: Canary Wharf - 5 Days in the office - 8AM - 5:30PM

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support within a leading global financial services firm. This role offers the chance to work in the heart of Canary Wharf, with a competitive salary of up to £30 per hour. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, providing support to two busy Managing Directors within the Equities division. This is a fantastic opportunity to build strong global networks both internally and externally, and truly take ownership of your role.

What you'll do:

As an Executive Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting two busy Managing Directors within the Equities division. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing extensive diaries, coordinating meetings and conference calls, and interacting with external clients. You will also be responsible for scheduling complex travel itineraries and organising events. Your proactive approach and ability to remain calm under pressure will enable you to manage these tasks efficiently.

  • Manage extensive diary and control business schedule proactively.
  • Arrange meeting venues, conference calls, video conferences facilities, and catering.
  • Interact extensively with external clients, building and maintaining relationships.
  • Act as 'gatekeeper' for all requests.
  • Manage incoming emails and phone calls, extracting and acting upon content where applicable.
  • Schedule complex travel itineraries and event organization ensuring adherence to internal policies.
  • Coordinate all travel including flights, hotels, visas, and ground transportation.
  • Manage events such as client entertainment, closing events, offsites/onsites, social/team events.
