A superb opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and professional Executive Assistant to support at Partner level at a leading London law firm.

You will be working within the Private Client practice area which is widely recognised for it's expertise across the legal sector.

The Private Client team deals predominantly with high quality non-contentious work including: advising families on wealth protection and succession; advising on residence and domicile; administration of complex estates; advising individuals on the tax implications of family breakdown; succession planning for family businesses and entrepreneurs; the creation, administration and taxation of trusts; advising on and drafting wills; taxation advice; and advising on capacity issues.

This particular department is especially well-known for cross-border matters involving multiple jurisdictions

Duties:

  • To provide highly effective support to fee earners and clients alike.
  • To ensure compliance is adhered to at all times.
  • To work effectively and professionally with other Executive Assistants in the department to ensure the efficient running of the division as a whole.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools, specifically Microsoft Word (advanced) Microsoft Excel (intermediate) and PowerPoint (basic).
  • To accurately proof read and draft complex legal documentation, ensuring a consistently high level of service is maintained in line with client's expectations.
  • To be able to liaise effectively at all levels with fee earners, clients and Executive Assistants to enable the smooth running of the division as a whole.
  • To demonstrate empathy with clients when dealing with sensitive matters involving the management of Wills and probate issues.
  • Diary management.
  • Organising meetings on behalf of fee earners.
