Float EA12 month FTCUp to £50,000 + bonusI have a fantastic opportunity for a Float Personal Assistant to join a global City Investment firm. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to a busy team of Investment professionals at all levels, working closely with a collaborative and friendly team of assistants. Previous experience within financial services is essential, along with proven experience supporting a busy team. Hybrid working available 4:1 – hours 9am – 5pm. What you’ll do:The Float PA will work independently, managing day-to-day responsibilities. These include:
  • Extensive diary management
  • Scheduling meetings and client visits
  • Screening calls and visitors
  • Coordinating travel arrangements including complex multi-step itineraries
  • Processing expenses
  • Filing and maintaining documents
  • Primary liaison for Executives, representing them to contacts
  • Prepare materials for meetings
  • Answer technical questions in Executive’s absence
  • Manage ad hoc responsibilities without disrupting workflow
  • Participate in regular admin/operations meetings to understand needs of department to provide effect cover
What you’ll need:The successful Float PA will have a tactful demeanour and be professional at all times. Other attributes include:
  • A Level’s (or equivalent) is essential
  • Experience working in a fast-paced financial services environment
  • Proficient mathematical ability
  • Autonomous but collaborative
  • High attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, adaptable, organised and able to prioritise
  • Have an in-depth understanding of investment processes to deal with complex, time-sensitive and confidential matters
