Personal Assistant, Educational Organisation, hybrid temp role until March 2025 with a possible extension, £17.20 p/h plus holiday pay

Leading educational organisation, based in London requires a PA to support 2 Deputy Directors. This is a temp role until March 2025 with a possible extension. You need to be immediately available. This role would suit you if you are not immediately seeking a permanent role as it is possible it could become a long term temp role.

Duties of the Personal Assistant role will include:

  • Being first point of contact for the Deputy Directors
  • Managing diaries and correspondence
  • Dealing with external stakeholders and internal staff
  • Perform secretariat duties efficiently for meetings involving setting up suitable dates, room bookings, drafting outline agenda, coordinating, and circulating papers
  • Some minute taking
  • Following up actions and keeping updated action logs, as required
  • Booking travel and accommodation well in advance
  • Provide day to day financial support and take the lead in raising purchase orders and processing invoices
  • Provide high quality, accurate and well-presented word processing of letters, minutes, papers and reports utilising Microsoft packages
  • Undertake relevant team support activities
  • Develop effective relationships and liaise with colleagues and external partners to ensure all aspects of work are dealt with in a consistent and appropriate way
  • Hybrid working with the need to be able to go into the office more for the first few weeks

Skills and experience

  • Previous PA experience
  • Confident booking travel and accommodation
  • Diary management - complex using Outlook
  • DBS will be required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proactive and someone who thrives within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of all Microsoft packages
