Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive individual for the role of Personal Assistant to the Head of Strategy and Department Administrator. This exciting opportunity sits at the heart of their organisation, playing a pivotal role in shaping strategic thinking and corporate prioritisation. The successful candidate will have the chance to work closely with the joint Heads of Strategy, managing their diary and providing administrative support, while also contributing to strategic delivery by offering project management guidance across key projects and initiatives.

What you'll do:

As a Personal Assistant to the Head of Strategy and Department Administrator, your role will be split between supporting the joint Heads of Strategy through diary management and administrative tasks, as well as contributing towards strategic delivery by working closely with all teams across the department. You will provide vital project management guidance, organisation, and coordination across key projects such as 'Strategy 2025'. Your ability to build effective internal relationships within the division will ensure smooth communications between senior leadership teams across the organisation.

  • Provide day-to-day support to the Heads of Department, including complex diary management and inbox management
  • Ensure preparation for meetings, timely receipt of meeting papers and sufficient review time for the Heads of Department
  • Proactively manage, follow-up and contribute to resolving internal and external actions, ad-hoc issues and queries on behalf of the Heads of Department
  • Lead administrative guidance, planning, organisation and coordination across key projects for the Department
  • Assist stakeholder engagement initiatives and contribute to department's communication plans
  • Identify and assist with continuous improvements to the operations of the department and its programme of work
  • Provide secretariat function to strategic meetings, managing agendas, records management and dealing with forward agendas
  • Coordinate onboarding for new joiners and leavers
