Personal Assistant to Principal

Our client, an esteemed Academy, is seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to the Principal to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in the smooth operation of the academy and contribute to a thriving educational environment!

Position: Personal Assistant to PrincipalLocation: SE1 - Elephant and CastleContract Type: TemporaryHours: Full-time, 8am - 4:30pmStart Date: As soon as possible (on going temp role)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Principal's diary, scheduling meetings and coordinating appointments with precision.
  • Handle emails, phone calls, and correspondence on behalf of the Principal, ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documents for various meetings, showcasing your attention to detail.
  • Organise and maintain confidential records and files, upholding the highest standards of confidentiality.
  • Serve as the first point of contact between the Principal and staff, parents, governors, and external stakeholders, fostering positive relationships.
  • Organise school events, staff briefings, and leadership meetings, bringing enthusiasm and creativity to every occasion.
  • Coordinate logistics for training days, governor meetings, and other key events, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Keep track of deadlines for school reports, budgets, and administrative tasks, helping the Principal stay on top of priorities.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proficiency in Bromcom to assist with administrative tasks
  • A valid Enhanced DBS certificate (this is a must!)
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanour
  • A proactive attitude with a knack for problem-solving and a willingness to go the extra mile
