VAT Assistant Manager - Expanding Consultancy

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a VAT Assistant Manager to join a rapidly growing team with strong potential for career progression. This role is ideal for an ambitious individual with VAT expertise who is looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients in meeting their VAT obligations accurately and on time, minimising risks of additional costs or penalties.
  • Provide clear, well-researched, and practical VAT advice to a variety of clients.
  • Assist in resolving VAT disputes with HMRC and other stakeholders through technical research and negotiation.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, identifying opportunities for growth and generating new business.

Additional Duties:

  • Contribute to VAT tender proposals and marketing efforts.
  • Assist with VAT input for restructuring and insolvency projects.
  • Investigate VAT queries, and review VAT returns and registration applications.
  • Help train and mentor junior staff on VAT matters, fostering a culture of learning and development.
