Partner Financial is working with an ambitious infrastructure business hat is recognised in the market for driving strategic transformation and innovation for complex clients. The business has a strong track record in the field and is focused on expanding its presence while providing a progressive work environment where employees can make a tangible impact on the organisation.

This newly created position will be responsible for delivering commercial analysis and insights across the business. Reporting into the CFO, this role would suit a self-starter eager to make their mark and grow within the function.

With an entrepreneurial culture and a bold strategy, the Senior Management Team is committed to enhancing their finance function and becoming true partners to the rest of the business. You will bring strong commercial acumen and financial analysis skills, with a natural ability to solve problems, challenge assumptions, and ask the right questions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the Finance leadership team to manage and maintain the business plan and model, supporting the next phase of the company’s growth.
  • Providing insightful commercial and trend analysis to assess the viability of new investments, ensuring short-term financial goals align with the long-term strategic objectives of the business.
  • Analysing data and presenting recommendations to drive informed commercial decision-making.
  • Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process alongside senior leadership and key stakeholders, while challenging assumptions where necessary.
  • Identifying key financial drivers and communicating their impact to the Senior Management Team.
  • Developing, implementing, and streamlining governance and reporting frameworks across the business.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Accountant or Finalist (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbally
  • Working experience within an infrastructure business will be advantageous
  • An inquisitive mind-set where you continuously seek process improvement
  • Commercially astute with the ability to work autonomously and deal with ambiguity
  • Confident presenting to internal and external stakeholders
