Finance Analyst | Fast Growth Music Agency Scale Up | London

Harmonic are delighted to be working with one of the UK's most exciting and fast growth UK music digital agencies in the search for their next Financial Analyst to join their increasingly scaling team.

The Business:

Our client are one of the fastest growing scale ups in the UK music industry currently, with a focus on providing some of the biggest artists in the industry with the marketing services to become the worlds leading names in the space. Along with London, there is also a strong presence in the US which looks to set to continue, illustrating the reach and reputation of the business.

The nature of the organisation is fast paced, with a real passion for the music industry throughout. There is also a forward thinking, tech centric approach to their work, which has allowed them to lead the market for their sub sector of the space. Therefore, it's an exciting time for the business that have real growth plans in place over the next five years, with revenue continuing to grow circa 30% year on year.

The Role:

This role will work closely with a fantastic finance director who is exceptionally keen on offering exposure to a range of more senior duties and the potential for future promotion opportunities. There will be a focus on month end and preparing the management accounts, while taking full autonomy for duties such as bank recs, accruals, prepayments etc.

With a hybrid policy in place and a great office space in central London in a tight knit, collaborative environment, this is a fantastic opportunity for finance professionals with circa 12 months experience looking to really kick on with their careers.

Duties:

  • Support with cash flow management & foreign currency management.
  • Assist with completion of the month-end process including accruals, revenue recognition and preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Assist with monthly payroll, pensions & insurance payment.
  • Complete variance analysis and commentary for each reporting period
  • Completion of Intercompany transaction reconciliation & reporting on a monthly basis
  • Assistance in the preparation of annual statutory accounts including liaising with external accountants on any queries or additional reporting requests.
  • Support with annual budget, quarterly forecasting, investment appraisal, due diligence and cash flow forecasting.
  • Complete payment runs for the group
  • Take responsibility for credit control management
  • Ad hoc duties to support wider and business and finance function

What we need to see (essential):

  • CIMA / ACCA / ACA / AAT Studier
  • Understand of month end, P+L, accruals, bank recs

What we need to see (bonus):

  • Creative industry experience (Music, Entertainment, TV&Film etc)
  • Xero experience

Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 + study support + bonus + fantastic industry perks

Location: Central London (3 days in office / 2 from home)
