NXTGEN has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join a world renowned company on a 4-month temporary contract. As a Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the analysis, control, and reporting of financial information for specific business areas. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team as a Finance Analyst and contribute to the overall success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, including KPI packs
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, profit and loss, and balance sheet, including journal preparation and posting
  • Support the Finance Manager in improving reporting, analysis, and commentary
  • Streamline processes and undertake additional tasks as needed
  • Analyse costs against budget and forecast
  • Communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and project work
  • Collaborate with the Central Finance team to ensure proper allocation of costs and benefits
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

What You'll Bring to the Role:

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills across various levels
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and produce high-quality work
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUP, SUMIF, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables)
  • Experience with Anaplan, SAP, and PowerBI is desirable
