NXTGEN has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join a world renowned company on a 4-month temporary contract. As a Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the analysis, control, and reporting of financial information for specific business areas. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team as a Finance Analyst and contribute to the overall success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, including KPI packs
- Prepare monthly management accounts, profit and loss, and balance sheet, including journal preparation and posting
- Support the Finance Manager in improving reporting, analysis, and commentary
- Streamline processes and undertake additional tasks as needed
- Analyse costs against budget and forecast
- Communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and project work
- Collaborate with the Central Finance team to ensure proper allocation of costs and benefits
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
What You'll Bring to the Role:
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills across various levels
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and produce high-quality work
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUP, SUMIF, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables)
- Experience with Anaplan, SAP, and PowerBI is desirable
