Finance Business Analyst Location: UK, London W12Length: 6 monthsRate: £400.00 - £450.00 per day ( Inside IR35) Hours: 35 hours per week (2 Days in the office per week)Interview process: 1 stage – potentially 2 stagesRole Overview:Please keep in mind that this role will be dealing with Group level finance. Candidates must have group-level experience and corporate tax experience.Be the main point of contact for technical accounting queries across the business, determining the impact of commercial decisions across monthly, budget, and forecast reporting. This includes the following:
  • Revenue recognition queries
  • Investments queries including control assessments and acquisition/equity accounting
  • Tax reporting and analysis
  • Foreign exchange
  • Consolidation and elimination
  • Support weekly and monthly calculations to estimate the Group’s underlying FX exposure, including raising trade requests, reviewing hedging effectiveness, and preparing analysis and reporting of the Group’s foreign exchange position
  • Support in the preparation of parent company accounts and coordinate submission of the Group year-end figures to the Group Finance team, liaising with the business and key stakeholders to ensure reporting deadlines are met
  • Liaise with external auditors to discuss and resolve queries as they arise and ensure a smooth audit process
  • Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards
  • Work alongside the Head of Finance and Tax teams to maintain accounting policies and tax compliance across the Group
