Finance Transformation Specialist, Central London (Hybrid), £65,000-£80,000+Bonus and equity options 

I am currently collaborating with a major international FinTech client that has experienced remarkable growth in recent years and is eager to continue expanding. This opportunity sits within their Finance Transformation team, a critical focus area for the organisation over the coming years.

The role is ideal for professionals with experience in finance transformations, automation within finance, ERP implementations, system upgrades, or any other type of finance-related transformation projects.

Finance Transformation Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Finance SME in the execution of the Financial Infrastructure roadmap for assigned workstreams.
  • Develop an understanding of existing accounting processes and identify areas needing improvement to shape future-state solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to effectively communicate finance requirements, highlighting gaps and inefficiencies identified during discovery discussions.
  • Define and document future state requirements, ensuring alignment with accounting policies and control best practices.
  • Actively contribute during the development phase by providing feedback and iterating quickly within an agile framework.
  • Design and execute testing and adoption strategies for new implementations, ensuring any impacts on business-as-usual operations are clearly communicated to stakeholders.
  • Maintain detailed project plans for your workstream, tracking progress through PMO.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of the workstream’s progress, staying closely connected with the Finance SME for decision-making and guidance.

Finance Transformation Specialist Qualifications

  • ACA or an equivalent professional finance qualification is mandatory
  • Expereince within a Banking or FS or Fintech industry
  • At least 4+ years of post-qualification experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on finance systems transformation.
  • Proven experience working on complex cross-functional technology transformation and implementation projects.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, agile transformation projects.
