We Do Group are delighted to be supporting a facilities services business in London, recruiting a permanent FP&A Analyst.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a sharp, data-driven FP&A Analyst to join a high-energy Commercial Growth Team. This role plays a key part in delivering powerful financial insights, shaping new business tenders, securing client retentions, and driving group-wide benchmarking within the fast-paced commercial catering industry. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for identifying trends before they emerge, and the ability to transform complex data into strategic decisions.

Working closely with the Head of Commercial Finance, the FP&A Analyst will be responsible for extracting, manipulating, and analysing financial data to support strategic decision-making. The role includes forecasting, budgeting, sensitivity analysis, and financial modelling, all while continuously improving financial reporting tools and processes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a real impact in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

THE ROLE

Data Extraction & Analysis:

  • Extract, clean, and manipulate large datasets from multiple financial and operational systems
  • Conduct detailed analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for business growth
  • Develop and enhance flash, forecast, and budget templates, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
  • Benchmark financial performance across the group, providing insightful comparisons and recommendations
  • Work closely with the Head of Commercial Finance to deliver sensitivity analysis and scenario modelling

Supporting Business Growth & Retention:

  • Provide data-driven support for new business tenders and existing contract retentions, ensuring competitive positioning
  • Assist in pricing strategies, cost modelling, and financial assessments to drive profitability
  • Identify commercial risks and opportunities using advanced data analysis techniques

Financial Systems & Process Improvement:

  • Maintain and enhance financial reporting tools, ensuring real-time visibility of key performance indicators
  • Automate and streamline reporting processes to reduce manual workload and improve accuracy
  • Support the continuous improvement of forecasting and budgeting methodologies
  • Collaborate with finance and operational teams to ensure consistency in reporting and data integrity

Ad Hoc Analysis & Strategic Insights:

  • Respond to ad hoc requests from senior finance leadership, providing quick and accurate data insights
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure financial analysis supports broader business objectives

YOUR PROFILE

  • Experience in financial analysis
