I’m currently working exclusively with a FinTech Payments client that delivers payment solutions on a global basis for a FP&A Analyst. Positioned at the core of the Commercial finance department, the role is exposed to senior leadership teams and involved in decision-making, requiring a strategic approach to ensure they are well-integrated and effectively contributing.

As a FP&A Analyst, you be working directly with FP&A Manager to support the growing and improving the business. Within the role you will partner with the wider business to support the delivery of the company strategy and develop long term planning and ensure that they are fit for international scale.

  • Support Strategic Planning: Assist in planning, budgeting, and forecasting to help the business achieve its strategic goals.
  • FP&A Reporting: Deliver accurate FP&A reports to the FP&A manager and senior management, ensuring actionable insights.
  • Profitability Insights: Drive data-driven decisions by analyzing profitability at the business unit level.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with department heads to create management information, offering financial analysis and performance commentary.
  • Dashboard Development: Aid in building and refining KPI dashboards focused on customer acquisition, retention, and overall business metrics.
  • Enhanced Reporting Processes: Continuously improve FP&A reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), adapting to business changes and ensuring clear communication between finance and other teams.
  • Real-Time Reporting Implementation: Work with cross-functional teams to establish enhanced, real-time reporting across systems.
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • Strong knowledge of excel and financial modelling.
  • Experience of analysing Large data sets and performance metrics.
  • Experience within FinTech in particular and an understanding of financial product lifecycles is an advantage but not essential.
