A PE-backed energy business working to deliver programmes within new energy and decarbonisation is recruiting for an Interim FP&A Analyst on an initial 6 month contract. This is an integral role forming part of a broader programme of change through finance, delivering improved management information, cashflow forecasts, project oversight and commercial return.

As the Interim FP&A Analyst, you will be:

  • Responsible for the planning and forecasting cycle across the group
  • Working with budget holders and key stakeholders to maintain better cost control and improve ROI on ventures
  • Working to understand revenue generating functions enabling them to make better informed commercial decisions
  • Delivering on month reporting duties, supporting the wider finance team
  • Involved on the systems implementation and improvement of automated tools
  • Implement a more robust cashflow forecasting mechanism
  • Involved in board reporting and delivery of financial analysis to investors and CFO

The ideal candidate:

  • Will be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Have experience within mid-market PE-backed businesses and able to demonstrate an understanding of reporting and FP&A requirements in this setting
  • Be able to work as an effective business partner to budget holders and senior leadership within operational teams
  • Be available at short notice
