ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To provide support to all aspects CMC’s trading operations, Customer and Hedge, including:

  • Administration and post trade support in relation to MetaTrader connectivity and trading activity.
  • Regulatory transaction report submission and resolution of validation errors.
  • 2nd Tier Resolution of Customer queries and Complaints, Escalation of Complaint if appropriate.
  • Monitoring of Financing and Cost of Carry Rates charged to Customers.
  • Ensure Customer facing and internal systems are functioning as designed.
  • Verification and authorisation of payments out, and support of nostro reconciliation process.
  • Liaise with IT during development and testing of new systems.
  • Design and implementation of workflow and procedures for Business Operations.
  • Maintenance of Product list and related reference data.
  • Maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role, including all relevant regulatory and legislative training
  • When dealing with all customers, clients or colleagues ensure that we provide a clear, fair and consistent high quality service that presents a professional and positive image of CMC Markets
  • Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality
  • Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • IT competent, particularly MS Office.
  • Methodical and thorough approach to tasks, able to work to deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Confident communicator.
  • Numerate.
  • Working knowledge of Reuters/Bloomberg.
  • Knowledge of Corporate Actions.
  • Working knowledge of financial markets and related products.
  • Experience within Financial sector.
