Key Relationships/Interfaces: Externally represent the client with National Regulatory Authorities, Governmental Authorities, Industry Players, and Shareholders. Internally collaborate with all client teams, especially the Commercial, Legal, and Finance teams.

Financial Accountability: While not a budget holder, responsible for supporting the Regulatory Affairs Manager in advancing the client's regulatory agenda.

Purpose: Support the Regulatory Affairs Manager in navigating the client's regulatory landscape, particularly focusing on European and GB Network Code/legislative developments and their impact on the company's operations. Understanding, anticipating, and influencing regulatory requirements are crucial for the client's ongoing success.

Tasks:

  • Monitor and analyse EU, GB, and Belgian regulatory initiatives, including Network Codes and legislative changes. Prepare briefing materials and draft consultation responses, taking the lead in selected areas.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the client's commercial and regulatory model, as well as its competitive environment.
  • Analyse issues and develop relevant public material on the client's proposals.
  • Brief key internal staff on regulatory matters, present implementation options, and assist in achieving compliance.
  • Support the commercial team in developing new services, reviewing regulatory compliance, and drafting terms and conditions.
  • Maintain the company's relationships with regulatory and governmental authorities alongside the Regulatory Affairs Manager, representing the client at stakeholder meetings and industry forums.
  • Provide general support to the Managing Director, Regulatory Affairs Manager, and other members of the Commercial and Regulation team.
