The role requires close collaboration with senior stakeholders and the investment team, providing exposure to commercial decision-making and a chance to drive impact within a fast-growing investment environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver accurate, comprehensive management packs and management accounts, including monthly reporting, variance analysis, and reconciliations.

- Investment & Donor Reporting: Assist with donor/LP reporting and provide financial insights to support portfolio management and investment decision-making.

- Commercial Finance: Collaborate closely with the investment team on financial analysis, loan servicing, and evaluating investment costs and value.

- Compliance & Audit Support: Oversee the accounts payable ledger, handle monthly journal entries, and ensure that all accruals and prepayments are recorded accurately. Manage the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.

- Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, supervise the Junior Management Accountant, and ensure the accuracy of entries, timelines, and deadlines.

- Budgeting & Forecasting: Play a key role in financial planning, liquidity management, and strategic business planning.

Core Functions of the Role:

1. Daily Financial Management: Oversee daily operations, supervise junior team members, and ensure efficient workflows and accurate reporting to support overall business operations.

2. Compliance & Control: Ensure regulatory compliance, manage audit processes, control costs, and review management accounts to maintain accuracy and transparency in financial records.

3. Business Partnering: Engage in forecasting and budgeting activities, working with the investment team to align financial strategies with business objectives.

4. Project & Operations Support: Partner with the Operations Manager to enhance systems and support various departments, including data, legal, and compliance, to ensure operational efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

- Competitive salary range of £60,000 - £65,000, based on experience.

- Hybrid work environment, providing flexibility between home and office.

- Comprehensive benefits package, including private health insurance, pension, gym allowance, and phone allowance.

- Career development within a growth-oriented investment firm, with significant opportunities for progression.
