Altum Consulting are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join a global media company. This role will be instrumental in providing critical financial analysis, reporting, and strategic insights to support business decisions.Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis.
- Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts and budgets.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic financial plans.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Provide ad-hoc financial analysis as needed to support business decisions.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior finance team members.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- ACA / CIMA / ACCA Qualification
- 5+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and excel.
- Experience with financial reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion, SAP, Oracle).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
