Our global trading client need a new senior investment analyst for the team. The role is hybrid so will be 2 days in the office with the rest working from home.

Main Purpose:

Support the manager and other team members in managing investment risks, including evaluating new opportunities and overseeing existing investments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investment/Divestment Evaluation (50%): Assess new investment opportunities and provide recommendations to management, including handling internal applications. Support business departments in deal sourcing and execution once approved.
  • Portfolio Management (50%): Oversee existing subsidiaries and affiliates, ensuring profitability and growth through budget control and strategic decision-making. Advise on business performance improvements and contribute to the Full Potential Plan and asset recycling programme.
  • Provide support to the Regional Investment and R&D Committees as secretariat.
Qualifications/Skills:
  • University degree (postgraduate preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, with an inquisitive and proactive mindset.
  • Team player, eager to learn and take on challenges.
Experience:
  • Experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, or similar roles. Newly qualified accountants are also welcome to apply.
