Altum consulting are pleased to be partnered with a global data analytics and consulting company to source a Senior M&A Analyst to focus solely on supporting the healthcare division transactions.

The role will sit within the M&A team which is responsible for all aspects of the M&A process, from deal origination to execution. The Analyst will play an integral part of the M&A team, enjoying a varied role working on all aspects of the process, but with a key focus on financial analysis.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform market research and analysis, including analysis of key business drivers, market competition, industry risk and opportunity analysis.
  • Synthesize research to be used in modelling, competitive analysis, industry analysis, negotiation support and various other applications.
  • Prepare detailed financial models, including scenario analysis.
  • Prepare valuation analysis using a range of techniques, including discounted cash flow analysis, comparable market multiples and precedent transaction analysis.
  • Assist in the due diligence process.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Degree educated with a focus on finance, business administration or related specialisation, additional professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, ACCA is desirable.
  • Several years' experience in an M&A environment, exposure to the Healthcare sector is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of UK and International Finance and Accounting concepts and principles as it relates to M&A transactions.
  • Strong computer (specifically Excel and PowerPoint) and financial modelling skills.
