Role Description

In the role of Trading Analyst, you will be integral to enhancing our analytical capabilities, providing key insights that influence trading decisions. You will be part of a newly formed team tasked with managing a growing portfolio of Power Purchase Agreements (PPA). Your role will involve significant collaboration with both internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient operational processes, particularly focusing on invoicing and financial settlements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Streamline and manage invoicing processes for power purchase agreements and route-to-market partnerships.
  • Monitor credit risks and manage margins with wholesale market participants.
  • Ensure accurate and timely nominations for trades in electricity and gas markets.
  • Administer trades within our proprietary Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems.
  • Develop and deliver detailed collateral reports to enhance strategic trading decisions.
  • Facilitate training initiatives and support the professional development of team members.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Competent in a fast-paced, detail-oriented work environment.
  • Strong numerical skills and precise attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Excel; experience with SQL, Python, and R is a plus.
  • Experienced in managing large datasets.
  • Trading experience or knowledge would be highly advantageous
