Finitas has teamed up with a leading insurance company to recruit a Vice President - Senior Fixed Income Analyst who will drive impactful decision-making by supporting on various investment management activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (2:1 or higher) with CFA, CA, or Actuarial designation; 5+ years in investments.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and research skills; proficient in Bloomberg, Excel, and Python.
  • Effective communicator with proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Team player with excellent time management and ability to meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Investment Strategy & Analysis: Create custom modelling solutions, evaluate investment performance, and collaborate with external asset managers to enhance portfolio returns across group and entity levels.
  • Risk and Compliance Management: Facilitate first-line risk reporting, ensure alignment with GAAP/IFRS and other regulatory standards, and oversee compliance with investment guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and ESG Initiatives: Prepare Board materials, build effective stakeholder relationships, and contribute to ESG efforts within investment portfolios.
